PART TIME ADMIN/STUDIO SUPPORT JOB

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ash + Chess is a queer owned stationery brand based out of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, specializing in cute rainbow greeting cards, art prints, and stickers. We have been in business for two years and are quickly growing! We are looking for someone to work one day a week for the months of May and June on admin duties such as managing inventory, processing orders, and general online shop upkeep. Initial training will be 2 full days with a stipend. Pay is $15/hour, working a 7-hour day (9-5ish).


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing inventory

  • Updating current inventory (one time) on Shopify
  • Tracking incoming and outgoing inventory
  • Ordering inventory of products and packaging
Processing orders
  • Sending confirmation emails & ship dates to retailers
  • Pulling & packaging products
  • Inputting orders into Shopify
  • Creating shipping labels & boxing orders
  • Emailing final invoices and tracking information to retailers when orders are complete
Other
  • Managing retailer list on website & address book
  • Updating SKUs on website

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Organized & systems-driven
  • LGBTQ+ or ally
  • Likes cats
  • Able to commute to Bed-Stuy easily
  • Familiar with Shopify & wholesale is great but not necessary - we will train you if you are a good fit!
